Q: What's this "Cash-In" all about?
A: Think of Cash-In as your super easy way to add funds to your GCash wallet! You can simply visit any Alfamart store to do it.
Q: Sounds convenient! How exactly does it work?

- Quickly generate a barcode: Just open your GCash app and create a Cash-In barcode. It's super simple!
- Show it at the counter: Head to the cashier at Alfamart and present the barcode on your phone.
- Scan and pay: The friendly cashier will scan the barcode. Just hand over your cash payment.
- All set! Make sure to confirm the transaction, and you'll receive a receipt as your proof.
Q: How do I load a GCash account of someone else?
A: Simply ask the person to generate their Cash-In barcode in their GCash app, take a screenshot of it, and send it to you. Then, just show that barcode to our cashier. Please do note that the Cash-In barcode is only valid for 3 hours.
Q: What kind of barcode do I need?
A: For GCash Cash-In, please make sure to use the 24-digit barcode that your GCash app creates for you. This barcode is valid for three hours only.
Q: Do I need to have mobile data to generate my Cash-In barcode?
A: Yes, your GCash app needs mobile data or Wi-Fi to generate a Cash-In barcode. If your signal is weak, you can generate the barcode in advance where you have better connectivity, as it's valid for three hours.
Q: Do you charge any extra fees when I Cash-In to my GCash account?
A: Nope, it's absolutely free to add funds to your GCash at Alfamart! You can enjoy free cash-in up to PHP 15,000 each month when you visit any Alfamart store. This free limit refreshes on the first day of every month, so you get a fresh start! See the GCash official help page for details.
Q: Can I pay using cards or electronic payments other than cash?
A: For E-Services transactions, we currently only accept cash payments.
Q: Can I get a refund or cancel a Cash-In transaction?
A: Unfortunately, Cash-In transactions are final and cannot be refunded or canceled. Please make sure to review your details before confirming.
Q: Will I receive a receipt?
A: Absolutely! You'll receive an Acknowledgement Receipt for every E-Services transaction you complete.
Q: Can I earn points for E-Services transactions?
A: While you won't earn points for E-Services transactions right now, your membership number might qualify you for exciting raffle promos in the future!
Q: What other services will be available in the future?
A: We're always looking for ways to make things easier for you! We plan to introduce services like bills payments and mobile load in the future, and we're working on adding support for more partners. Stay tuned!
Q: Is there a maximum amount that I can cash in?
A: Yes, the maximum amount for a single Cash-In transaction is P10,000. Please also keep in mind your personal GCash account limits.
Q: Is this available in all stores?
A: Yes, you will eventually be able to enjoy this service at all our stores. We're working hard to make it available everywhere!
Q: I added money to my GCash, but it's not showing up in my account. What should I do?
A: Don't worry, we're here to help! If you added money at Alfamart and it's not reflecting in your GCash balance yet, give it a little time and peek at your Transaction History or Inbox: Sometimes, it takes a few moments for your transaction to show up. Take a look at your GCash Transaction History or your app's Inbox a little later – it might be there!
